Been quiet around here. For that I do apologize. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was very relaxing and I got to spend a lot of quality time with my family! Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, seems there's a mad dash to Christmas! This past weekend I set up my first "regular" sized tree. In previous years, I've used a table-top tree since I lived in small quarters, but this year I decided to get a 6 footer! As a result of my impulsiveness, I've devoted my free time to creating ornaments. Here are some peeks:
Last year, I bought 10 wooden snowflakes that were on clearance, not knowing what I'd do with them. Sure glad I got them! I painted them an antique white and glittered them up!
I used paperclay to make these. I'm currently making lil' santa hats for each one. Can't wait to hang them up on the tree!
The white leaves of these holly ornaments really pop when they're placed on the tree.
In case you haven't put up your tree or want ideas for your next year holiday projects, I'll be making a tutorial for the snowman and holly ornaments this week, so check back! Sue
