I have a confession. I'm a big horror fan. Okay, that's a bit of an understatement, I'm a BEHEMOTH fan! It's a bit of an oxymoron if you think about it since I love to sew up cute little rag dolls and then I've got this great pine to scare my pants off. This past year has been a good one for TV (cable to be exact) because it has gone all out to scare viewers with two awesome, in my opinion, horror shows. They're quite different in their own rights but both share a great cast, excellent storylines, and monumental cliffhanger episodes!
I'm in love with this show and if you've seen American Horror Story, then you're a masochist like me. The plot line is a bit complicated, to keep it short a family buys a new home, moves in, and all hell breaks loose . . . literally. This is not for the faint at heart and can be quite graphic, but if you're okay with that and appreciate a good horror story in a modern setting, this show's for you. It's creepy, sexy, intriguing, and downright puzzling. I'm counting down the next episode as I type.
Imagine an apocalypse world filled with zombies . . . that's The Walking Dead. This is a gore fest (again it's graphic) but the zombies really take a backstage to the survivors who are living this nightmare. Their relationships and codependency are really what's addicting about the show and I love every minute of it!
