These two ideas are great when you don't have a lot of space in your classroom which is the case with me. My room is a bit on the small side, so I need to make the best of the wall space I have. Delineate parts of your wall by creating faux displays, the strategy I like to use is with corkboard squares or kraft paper. Cork can be expensive (a set of 4 large squares is $15-$20) but they're a good investment because they last and can be used for different purposes and displayed in various ways. Kraft paper is a cheaper alternative and can be set up and taken down quickly. As seen in my pic above, you can make pretty in-class displays that are original and space-saving.
I really enjoyed this post. I hoped you've enjoyed it too! I'm in the middle of making a batch of new monkeys. I'll update you with some pics really soon. Until then, happy weekend! Sue
